"Lola had an unexpected turn in her life when she began her heat cycle. A month later we noticed that she was leaking fluid and was not eating, and I thought it was because we changed her dog food.

We learned it was more serious and she had to get emergency surgery due to her having an infected uterus. Had we not taken Lola to the vet, she would have died. I’m so thankful for Rochester Hope for Pets — they helped donate to Lola to have this emergency pyometra surgery, especially since it happened unexpectedly around the holidays.
