“Milo was recently diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma. Hearing those words was devastating, but from the very beginning he has faced this journey with incredible spirit. He has completed radiation therapy and is now continuing treatment with chemotherapy and follow-up care at Cornell Animal Hospital.

Through it all, Milo continues to amaze me. He still plays like a puppy, loves his car rides, eats enthusiastically, and sleeps peacefully beside me every night. His joy and resilience remind me every day why I will do everything I can to keep him healthy and comfortable.

Like many people facing unexpected medical challenges, the cost of ongoing specialty care has been overwhelming. When I wasn’t sure how I would continue Milo’s treatments, an extraordinary organization stepped in.

Rochester Hope for Pets showed us unbelievable kindness and generosity by helping with Milo’s medical care. Because of their support, Milo is able to continue receiving the treatment he needs at Cornell Animal Hospital. Their compassion has truly given Milo more time, more comfort, and more chances to keep being the happy little dog we all love.
