Rochester Hope For Pets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing life-saving financial assistance for those in need.
Our mission
Pets are family, but the truth is not everyone can afford to pay for unexpected veterinary care.
That’s where we come in.
Rochester Hope For Pets believes no one should have to lose a beloved pet simply because they lack the ability to pay. We help local families afford life-saving procedures by funding grants and offering financial assistance when it’s needed most.
How we help
Financial assistance
We pay veterinary hospitals directly to help cover the costs of unexpected or emergency procedures.
Community partnership
We work with local rescues, vet clinics, and businesses to raise awareness and build a pet-friendly network.
Enhanced care
We provide resources and education to pet parents so they can provide the best quality of life possible.

Bandit
This sweet boy fell down the stairs and needed to have his leg amputated. RHFP was able to make Bandit’s life-saving surgery possible.

Monkey
Monkey was rescued with a broken jaw. Rochester Hope for Pets was able to help with funding for his much needed dental care.

Lucky
Lucky’s mom reached out for a grant to help with diagnostic testing. Thanks to RHFP, she was able to get an ultrasound appointment.

Charlie
Unable to use his hind legs, a small grant for Rochester Hope for Pets allowed Charlie to get the surgery he needed to walk again.
